Well, I was hoping to watch the events of the day during my lunch break, but the managers at work decided to be generous and buy us pizza for lunch (so we didn’t kill ourselves by going out in the snow…apparently it was okay to make us come to work…). That’s great, but they didn’t want us to take a lunch break until the pizza arrived – at two o’ clock. not so cool – but thanks for the free food!

And, of course, the weather. We got a few inches of snow last night. I, unfortunately, missed the announcement that I could come in two hours late. So I went in at my usual time, albeit a lot more slowly because I wanted to be safe on the crazy roads.

By the time I left work, the snow had stopped falling and had begun to melt. Most of the snow on my truck had melted – except in the bed of the truck. So as I drove home, all around me it looked like a beautiful yet snowy day – but calm. Yet through my back window, it looked like a blizzard was in full force because of the way the airflow whirls around in a truck’s bed. So that is my Blizzard in a Bed!
