Well, thought I’d share what we did today – and, of course, include a few pictures (because I know that’s all you really care about…).
We started the day off with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. But Keaton thought it would be good to make sure every one of his toys were out for him to play with:
Of course, he played with about three of them before starting to bring out books to read. That was fun. Eventually it got to be snack time and Keaton hauled his chair in front of the couch.
Shortly thereafter Terra and I decided we should try and finish off some of the cookie dough hanging out in the fridge. Keaton “helped”, though it quickly deteriorated to him squashing cookies in his hand and then stealing bits to eat. He never did get to enjoy the cookies because he wouldn’t eat his lunch.
After a nap to help with his mood, Keaton ate enough lunch to get mom’s approval for a teething biscuit. After lunch the football game started (which Terra was excited about). And a little later Keaton and I hit the little park in our complex.
He, of course found the rocks lying around to be as much fun as the equipment.
But he did spend a decent amount of time climbing said equipment and hitting the slide.
After playtime we headed to IHOP for dinner. Thats right, IHOP. It was actually pretty good. Would have been a little more peaceful if Keaton hadn’t been so tired.
All in all, a fun and not too stressful day. We do have much to be thankful for in regards to family, health, and Christ.
Here’s a gallery of all the pics for your perusal:
